It seems only moments ago that
Tramway's Unlimited Festival 2016 happened - have things changed for disabled artists? Have we moved on?
The conversation still needs to be had, that's for sure, and I was delighted to further this chat among friends old and new at The Work Room, Tramway and Disability Arts Online

In October 2018, Tramway will hold another Unlimited Festival. The page links at the top of this blog will take you to the detailed info about the great performances, exhibitions, installations and events that you can be part of.
For the festival, I've been working with my brilliant collaborator Daisy Douglas and Tramway to develop a panel discussion that evolves the themes of the 2016 festival.
These were VISIBILITY, INTERSECTIONALITY, COMMITMENT and EVOLUTION.
Being a Disabled Artist: Relevance, Representation & Resilience will be a place of conversation and supported interactions with artist peers, their collaborators and the sector. Placing artists at the heart of the conversation is vital and I hope everyone will leave with a new idea or action.
In the lead up to this event on 20th October at Tramway, I will be sharing some of the documentation to come out of the 2016 festival and exploring the themes with our contributors and community.
